Description
The oil-gas separator separates the oil-gas mixture compressed by the main unit. It uses a micron-level glass fibre layer to separate oil droplets from the compressed air, which then coalesce into larger oil droplets. Under the force of gravity, the lubricating oil collects at the bottom of the oil separator and is returned to the compressor oil circuit through the return oil pipe. This separation can achieve sub-micron levels, ensuring that the compressor's oil consumption is ≤3PPM.
The oil-gas separator filter media is made from ultra-fine glass fibre composite filter media produced by HV Company and Lydall Company in the United States. When misty oil-gas mixtures in compressed air pass through the oil separator core, they are completely filtered out.
